Recharge

All my devices are charging now. I find it interesting how each of them ended up losing battery power all at the same time.

Even the computer is charging as I type.

Something as mundane, routinary, and ordinary as this made me realize something.

Much like these devices, WE also need recharging. We need to quiet our souls and rest. If these machines can wear out because of overuse, well, tayo pa kaya?

May each of us do just that, in this extended holiday. To recharge, rest, and be quiet again. To plug in to the real Source of power. :)

Blogging on the Sabbath

I missed a good deal of rest for the past two weeks. It wasn’t because I was busy per se—it was because I made myself busy.

Too busy, in fact, that I missed out on the most important day of the week: my Sabbath, a.k.a. my rest day.
