I’m sure 11-11-11 was a special day for most of us, being a unique date and all that. It was quite a day for me too, because I helped coordinate a friend’s wedding. Continue reading

The Pre-Christmas Blog Post
I used to dread Christmas. It would be the time of the year for Noche Buena, gift-giving, and the obligatory spend-time-with-family flak that Filipino society is all-so-accustomed to. Many friends would be happy to be with their families, eating homecooked food, and exchanging laughs and memories.
For someone like me, it was torture. Continue reading
Jesus, You Rock.
For the past three days I took part in the three-day LifeBox Campus Conference called Ignite 2011. LifeBox’s mission is to prepare students for LIFE (leadership, integrity, faith, and excellence), and the Ignite conference was one of the tools to make LIFE happen.
To say that the entire conference experience was EPIC, AWESOME, and FTW is a gross understatement. It was almost kinda surreal for me in a way. Here are some of the reasons why:
1. I was living out a dream God placed in my heart some years ago. When the whole event concluded and the kids were worshipping God, I was crying. I don’t think it was because of relief or whatever, but it was simply AWE. I am in awe that an awesome, holy, beautiful God would pick someone like ME to let His purposes done on earth. (And if you know what I’m like, hoo boy . . .)
2. It was the only place where hatred between Lasallians and Ateneans was nonexistent. Instead they were united in Jesus. I loved how this photo summarizes my whole point:

3. Working with talented, humble, excellent, and FUN coworkers. KAYO NA. I love how everyone worked together as a team with synergy and awesome stuff like that.
4. In spite of the tiredness, lack of sleep, achy muscles, irritability, headaches, and pimples, God’s grace was so abundant. I honestly have no words to describe it. All I know is, He was there. ’nuff said.
IKAW NA, LORD. IKAW NA TALAGA.
WALA NANG IBA.
I’d like to end this blog post with a quotable quote from Robert Gonzales of LifeBox Fort Bonifacio:
“God, drugs Ka ba? Nakaka-adik Ka, God!!!”
Jesus, You rock. AND You ARE the Rock.

I Came, I saw . . . I Blogged! (Part Two)
iBlog7 finished on Saturday, April 2, and I feel kinda sad that it already did. I love the fact that I learned so much on those two days. I love that I was able to connect with like minds and learn from about them and their individual experiences. Continue reading
I Came, I saw . . . I Blogged! :D
April 1 marked the first day of iBlog 7, the 7th Philippine Blogging Summit. I came here for work, because this year’s topics held much promise for my current job as a Web Content Writer.
We’re down to the second half of sessions for the series, and I’m kinda gonna miss it when it’s gone. It’s been a refreshing, entertaining, and informative two days. In some ways the experience didn’t feel like work at all. Continue reading
